Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14th of 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. at the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games as well as the first gymnast to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was born and raised at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Both she and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first drawn to the sport of gymnastics at the age of six. The coach Aimee Borman accompanied her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them to a field trip. Biles won the floor and vault competitions at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the top competition levels in the year 2011. In less than two years, she took the lead in her sport. What set Biles apart was her consistency her vibrant personality as well as the intense level of effort she integrated into her routines at each of the four events: vaulting uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
