Annie Murphy

Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on December 19th, 1986. The Canadian native was employed by Hollywood's film industry on a range of projects. The most famous of them was Alexis Rose on the CBC TV sitcom Schitt's creek, that began in the year 2015. The show was cancelled in 2020. Her character received critical acclaim and won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born within Ottawa Ontario Canada. Both of her parents were instructors. They enrolled her at Elmwood School in Ottawa where they staged productions. When she graduated at Concordia University with a theatre degree, she joined the Canadian Film Centre's Actor's College. In the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory is where she studied acting. She moved into Los Angeles in her early teens and then began her journey into acting. Annie Murphy launched her acting career when she appeared in the 2007 crime-thriller telefilm Lethal Obsession. Annie Murphy went on to appear in smaller roles as well as additional ones in various films. Some of these films are extremely popular, such as Story of Jen released in 2008 Lick in 2010, and A Windigo Tale released the same year. In addition, she was a part of Canadian television series such as Good God' aired in 2012 Rookie Blue which was aired that same year. Her capacity to handle numerous projects is impressive. Annie began her professional career as a struggling actor and struggled with proving her worthiness. In addition, her exceptional performances have helped make her a prominent actress in the entertainment and film industry.
