Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actress, singer-songwriter, and performer. She is mainly involved in Tamil and Malayalam movies. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam and Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's dad was a Madras High Court lawyer. She has an older sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium in the role of Research assistant. Jeremiah was raised within Chennai. He attended National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was an avid geek and wanted to be a psychiatrist until she completed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea was a classical pianist when she was eight. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she joined at the age of 10, was her foundation for her singing as well as composing music. She was a performer at her college in various productions that were put on by The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her theatre career with Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her appeared in a leo commercial alongside actor Shiva. She has also acted in a TV show which airs on Podhigai. She's performed on stage in India. The brief appearance was in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). Gautham Vaisudev menon performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then asked to have her play in the role of a female lead for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in the film that is a re-imagining of the novel by James Siegel. The husband of the character is involved in an affair and is blackmailed by her husband. Andrea was picked to play the character following the actresses Simran Shabana as well as Tabu were offered the role. The movie was announced in the early part of 2010.
