Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, studied clarinets along with cellos, pianos, and clarinets at the Hochstein School of Music. Sharp received a scholarship for The Boston Conservatory for her love of school theatre. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp focused her energy on the stage. Sharp played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp performed Abyssinia and Aida in theatre, in addition. Alongside her performances both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she has written or co-written. Alongside singing, Sharp is working on an album. Sharp is a fan of exercising. She keeps herself fit through boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp lives with her family in Los Angeles with family.
